Machine
decommissioning and recommissioning is an
important service for today's flexible and
fast-moving, adaptive industrial users.
An important first step is the “Pre-move
alignment / calibration assessment”. This step
informs the owner and the mover of what the
current existing condition of the machine is.
This becomes the benchmark to be attained at the
end of the move. Without this valuable data, it
is impossible to determine if the machine move
is complete, with the machine resuming the same
specifications (or better). A poorly aligned and
worn machine remains a poorly aligned and worn
machine after the move unless corrective
measures are taken. For this reason we offer the
total service of decommissioning, rebuild /
repair, recommissioning, final alignment and
certification. DAR-Tech feels that the move is
not complete until the machine resumes
production.
